On August 23, 2012 David Lowery from the Archives Department in Albany came to Babylon to inspect our museum.  After visiting with board members and reviewing the museum, he gave his approval, and the Village of Babylon Historical & Preservation Society is thrilled to announce that we have received our Absolute Charter from the New York State Board of Regents.
