Every year a $1000 scholarship is awarded to a Babylon Village high school senior who excels in social studies. This is based on regents, AP scores and overall social studies grades and ranking. Seniors who live in the village and go to Babylon, North Babylon, West Babylon, St John the Baptist , St Anthony’s, or Chaminade high schools are eligible for this award. The guidance counselors of each school submit the name of their top student and then the society scholarship committee selects the recipient.
