Film and the American Great Depression Session 2: Ripped from the headlines: crime, glamour and comedy

This series will explore the impact of film during the American Great Depression both as social commentary and as a means of escape. Sessions will feature film clips from the golden era of Hollywood, as well as discussions concerning the major film topics of the era.
